There will be 3 off-site parking sites for competitors, spectators and volunteers available from October 5 through the conclusion of the event. Upon entering Oxford each morning from 0800 to 1100 you will encounter a Star Words Parking Information sign where a map and directions to the nearest site with space available will be provided. There will be attendants at each parking site until they are full. Van shuttle service to and from the club will run continuously throughout the day. The three sites are within walking distance should you prefer – Oxford Community Gardens (0.8 miles/1.25 km), Oxford Soccer Field(0.6 miles/1 km) and The Strand –East(0.3/0.5 km)

Should you need to drop off equipment/cooler/etc. during the event proceed to the Drop Off Area at TAYC and return to the suggested parking area.

Handicap Parking will be provided at Oxford Soccer Field parking location, adjacent to the shuttle van stop.  The van will bring you to the club. If that is not appropriate for your needs, specific arrangements will be made.

Tred Avon Yacht Club, located in Oxford, Maryland, is easy to find using any Map application. However, be advised that some applications when coming from the North and West will bring you down Route 33 towards St. Michaels and Royal Oak to Bellevue which requires a ferry crossing that is not suitable for trailers. Once on Route 50 either North or South of Easton, follow these directions:

  • From Route 50 East (North of Easton) – exit onto Route 322, the Easton Bypass. Proceed 6 traffic lights to Route 333/Oxford Road, turn Right and continue to Oxford for about 8 miles. Upon approaching Oxford the speed limit will drop to 40 and then 25 mph. Obey these limits as they are strictly enforced. Continue through town until you reach the end, turn left on The Strand and TAYC will be on your right.
  • From Route 50 West (South of Easton) – exit to the left onto Route 322, the Easton Bypass. At the first traffic light, turn left onto Route 333/Oxford Road and continue to Oxford for about 8 miles. Upon approaching Oxford the speed limit will drop to 40 and then 25 mph. Obey these limits as they are strictly enforced. Continue through town until you reach the end, turn left on The Strand and TAYC will be on your right.

Note: From October 5 through the conclusion of the event, parking will be off-site.
